Bought these as a replacement for an older grey baggy pair that I had for almost ten years. Those didn't even wear down much, I just gifted them to a friend and got this new version of them model. Still very warm keep my feet toasty without making them sweaty. I haven't had much luck with winter boots that can keep the cold out when I'm out and about, but these do it no problem.
They also just look very unique and are impervious to rain or snow. Being able to wear the cuff up helps when trudging through ankle height snow or deep puddles.
