Seriously, stop right here. This is the one. These became my new favorite boots the moment I put them on... perfect fit, perfect feel - the leather is soft and supple, the WP lining WORKS, the tread is nicely aggressive, the rubber compound is soft enough to give excellent grip on wet/icy surfaces while not being *so* soft that it seems likely to wear out quickly, and the insulation is great - it's not suffocating, but it keeps my toes warm. I've been wearing these 5 days a week since I bought them (5 or 6 weeks now) and they just get better with wear!

I'm a butcher and looked to Palladium for a sturdy, comfortable and waterproof work boot. It took 40 hours a week for a year STRAIGHT but I finally sprung a leak in the waterproof design (On the seam along the sides of the toes). These things got soaked day in day out, power-washed, spattered with cleaning chemical, frozen, kicked around, scraped by machinery and heel-checked by pallets and steel doors completely unscathed and leaving my feet bone dry. Super cozy and air-tight without turning the inside into a sweaty sauna. If you're just looking for something to walk around in wilderness in once in a while, you found one very over-qualified candidate. Do note: These bad boys can be a doozy to break in; don't be deterred if your foot doesn't initially fit. I had to crack and pop my way in but after a while I could wear them with super thick socks. I'll be buying a replacement of the exact boot soon

These things are indestructible and way better than what I was expecting for the price, and I usually wear through shoes pretty quickly. I've had a pair for 3 years and they're still my favorite boots and still 100% waterproof, even standing in shallow puddles. They're warm enough to wear in late fall/early winter but definitely too hot to wear in summer, partly because of the waterproof thing though. One day I'll finally destroy these and then I'll buy the exact same ones again.

FYI I'm usually a size 8.5 or 9 and went with the 9 and it fits perfectly. Other size 9 palladiums are too big for me but these seem to fit a little more snug with the insulation.
